Hey guys I'm looking at an 05 g for potential purchase. Car looks great inside and out. I wanted to have BCAA take a look at it but the seller works 9-5 monday to friday (pretty much the exact same time BCAA is only available). He cannot get any days off during the week so I will need an alternative (available on saturdays). Any recommendations? Aside from an Infiniti stealership.. 260+tax there for an inspection .

The problem is, it may pass a compression check, and most tests an STILL be an oil user. The 05's are notorious for it.

 

Yeah fingers crossed on that one. The place I'm taking it to checks oil consumption rates and the seller claims that it doesn't have any issues with oil burn. We will have to see.

 

I'd be curious to know how they check oil consumption without driving it a couple of thousand miles.
