Things to look for when buying a used 05-06 6sp sedan

Hi all, first post here.

I'm in the market for a low mileage 05-06 6MT sedan. I've been digging through old posts here for the last couple weeks, here are the issues I know of:

1) 05-06 6MT uses the Revup motor which has known issue with using oil, there was a TSB and many had their blocks replaced
2) squeaky compression rod bushings
3) high mount brake light going out

Any others to be aware of when I'm checking the vehicle out? Thanks in advance!

Tim

Okay well I found a car and it was checked out by a local mechanic for $50, and has pretty much a clean bill of health. Only 78k miles on it, so it's in pretty good shape. Said that the struts were probably on their way out due to the way the front tires were cupped. Didn't bother me much since I'm planning to lower the car with new springs and dampers anyway. That was the only major issue, so I'll be taking the car home on Monday!

For future buyer's reference:
- 2006 G35 6MT sedan
- 78k miles
- good - very good condition
- needs new rear tires
- recent service records available
- no accidents on carfax, clean title
- 4 owners
- $10,400 private party

Its not that the shocks are going (although they very well could be), but the extreme angle of our camber wears the insides of the tires from the factory. Our suspension is a pos. Yer gonna need a camber kit.

4 owners at 78k miles? That's odd..
