Want to sell my caribbean blue 2003 G35 Coupe

Hey guys, haven't been on the forum much recently but I used to use it all the time. I thought I'd come back to my go to source for Infiniti related information and ask for some help selling my car.

Some Specs:
2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe
Miles : 156000
Title : Salvage
Owners : 2
Exterior Paint: Caribbean Blue
Interior Paint: Beige

Options:
- Navigation

Upgrades:
Injen CAI
Injen Full Catback Exhaust
5/16 or 5/8 (Dont remember) Plenum Spacer
Drilled/Slotted Front Rotors
KYB Shocks and Struts All Around (~15k miles ago)
NGK Spark Plugs (~15k miles ago)
Replaced both window motors, lifetime warranty from autozone
06 OEM Projector Headlights
Clear Corners
18" OEM wheels Kumho ASX Tires All Around About 75% Thread Road Hazard Warranties

Things it needs:
Fuel Level Sensor
Hood clear coat repair
Intake Manifold Gaskets
Front seat leather Repair

My Questions:
1) In its current condition what would be a fair asking price for the car?
2) Is it worth selling the exhaust ,intake, and spacer so the car is basically stock?
3) Is it worth fixing the few things it needs ?

Most of the things that need to be done to this car I can do myself aside from the seat repair and painting. Other than that I kept all the stock parts that were replaced. Any guidance would be appreciated. In any case I'll probably end up listing this car on here to sell it.

If you have all the stock parts and its just an intake, a few lights and exhaust, hell yeah you should put it back to stock. People pay more for completely stock cars, and you make some money on top when you sell the aftermarket parts.

How much would it cost to fix everything? May be worth it. Any time you have to explain a list of broken stuff it opens the door for lowballers.

Beautiful color BTW.

Thanks for your response!
I figured it would be worth it to put it back to stock but was thinking it might not be worth the time if I sold it to someone like the users on here who are going to do some of the mods themselves anyways.

Hood clear coat I need to get a quote but id say $200 is a decent ball park.
Seat I have no idea.
The rest just parts maybe $150 I can do all the labor.

Yea I love this color only was available for 2003 and 2004.

I wouldn't worry about the seat. All of our cars have that, so no one would really be able to talk you down for that. I think it would depend on what the hood costs ultimately. If yer spending $400 to keep someone from talking you down $500, its not really worth the $100 difference.

Agreed. Salvage titles are scary and you'll definitely have to take a bit of a hit for it. As long as there's no frame damage tho, you may be able to explain yourself into a few more bucks.

Fair enough I assumed as much. The first owner of the car got a salvage title when he got into a front-end collision. Airbags were replaced, front bumper and hood were replaced along with the radiator I believe. My brother and I have put over 100k miles on the car since and have had zero mechanical problems with it. There was no frame damage. The car is solid.

Salvage title is going to hurt you. people see that and expect a huge discount on a used car, or the move on.

Put the car back to stock as close as you can, and sell the aftermarket parts.

As for fair selling price, the color will probably help. Search EBAY and local classified for used G35 coupes in similar shape and miles and see what they sold for. Come up with your number, and then you may need to knock of 10-20% for the Salvage title.

Hate to say it but that will be your biggest issue. People buy Salvage title cars because they know they can get a deal.
