2004 g35 with 150k?

I'm in the market for a g35. I found this 2004 g35 with 150k miles for $7000. I test drove it, runs like a beauty. Brought it to my mechanic, said that there are only a few minor issues. But what do yall think about the g35 with that many miles?

Pass.
There are tons of G's with less miles for not too much more. It may be in great condition for the age but I'd look for 05-07 years for all the updates from 1st gen. It's your money but make it worth the purchase.
Good luck, and please don't get silver or grey...too many of those around. OB FTW!!!

I don't think him passing on silver or gray is going to affect the amount of those color Gs that exist.

if it were a coupe manual car i would say the price wasnt horrible but unless it was super clean i would talk him down.

i got my 04 dg coupe manual with the brembo sport package for 6700$ with 115k on the clock.
had some minor wheel well rust and a dent in the rear bumper.

and i honestly searched for 1 solid year before i bought a g35. i **** you not. ask my wife. she was so tired of hearing me talk about a deal a couple states over or a deal i had to fly somewhere for or someone i could talk down. this was the cheapest i could find with what i wanted. so if its what you want and you are willing to pay for it, then do it.

Pass. Too many miles.

Look for an 05-07 instead in the $8-10k range. Got my 05 fully loaded for about $9500 with a little over 100k miles

Similar Position

Not to hijack the post, but I am in a similar position. I have a 04 g35 AWD that has run 116000 miles and is being offered for $5500. Is it a good option?

Just for comparison... Looked at tradin in my 2006 G35x AWD with 158K miles. Fully loaded with Navi, in great condition. Dealer wanted to give me $3500. If I sold it private, i'd prob ask $4-5K tops.

I think that car is overpriced for 150K mile despite how clean it is.
