31k is too much for a 04 with 16k miles; you should be able to get a 05 for the same amount. To be honest the difference between the 2003.5's and 04's is a tire pressure gage. (other than the brembos) If you are looking at the 04's save some cash and get a 03 otherwise just wait alittle until you can get a 2005 for the price you want.
FYI I have an '04, 6spd, brembos, 18's, fully loaded minus navi, full aero kit, etc. and was the PERFECT G35 I found... I'm really needing to sell it ASAP and live in the Carolinas if you or anyone was interested. I just hit 19k miles so has plenty of factory warranty remaining. KBB private party says $30,600 so I'm asking $29,800 OBO... here's a pic from this week. It's completely factory except the Skyline clear corner lenses in front.
