Potential '03/'04 G35 Coupe Buyer

Hello all, I have enjoyed browsing the forum and reading up on these wonderful cars. I am in the market for a new daily driver in the next couple of months and the G35C/350Z are on the top of my list. I have owned several sports cars in the past including a '91 MR2, '91 300ZX 2+2, and a 1989 Porsche 944 S-2. My last daily driver was a heavily modifed 2003 VW Passat 1.8T 5 speed that I purchased new. I put the car through shows, autoX, and even one time at the drag strip. I would want to do the same with my next vehicle and I want to go back to a sports coupe. My budget is ~$25K which is why the 350Z appealed to me, but the interior was too plastic feeling like my old 300ZX and the lack of a rear seat and moonroof turned me off. I drove a 2004 G35 coupe 6MT with the Aero and Winter packages last week and it blew my mind. The car was so comfortable and refined and they dealership wanted $25.5K for it. I would have bought it for $24K but I am going to wait until November when know for sure where my Medical career is taking me. I have been driving sedans since 2000 because a couple of run-ins with the law but my record has been clean since then and I think my insurance can finally handle my purchase of another sports car.

I am also looking at the LS2 GTO, VW R32, C5 Vette, and BMW 330i coupe.

I really do not have questions, but just wanted to thank everyone for the immense amount of information that is easily accessible with the search function. Hopefully I will be joining your ranks soon.

Regards,
Lelo
