...getting near crunch time. Delivery date on my '06 Coupe is 10/29. Wondering if I can reasonably expect it by that date??? What was your experience?

 

fkin dealership kept teasing me. "yea its coming in 3 months", "oh itll be here in 2 weeks" and so on....."blah blah blah". worst part of the whole new car buying process. i almost lost it. but im glad i didnt

 

i would just tell my customers the truth and some of them were suprised it came a little earlier. i learned why tease the customer it just will hurt everyone in the long run.

 

I ordered mine and the date set was march 4th. It arrived march 5th,saturday, late, picked up on monday the 7th. Not too far off, the sales manager can track it once it gets state side. but it comes on a ship,no way to track once it left japan until it gets stateside.
g/l and believe me, the anticipation is worth the first take off.

 

Salesperson e-mailed me today. Said he was just informed my 10/29 date moved to 11/4. My questionl is does that kind of info. become available because it was loaded on the boat late or .......? Don'task me why but for some reason I really didn't think I'd see it on 10/29. So far my sales experience has been outstanding and I believe these guy's are shooting straight. Soooooo, think I'll see it on 11/4?

I was told a date, and the car got here before it. I also agree on giving the worst case senario.
