This is a good deal on a Coupe Automatic?

Bashar368's little bro here-

I was at the dealership today and they had a 2006 Black on Black coupe w/ Premium Package , 19's and Keyless entry. They were willing to do 41950 out the door. I honestly think they were trying to rip me a new butt hole. Carsdirect price w/ same options is roughly 36434.

So I'm kind of confused on weather or not i should go through with this deal. Honestly all i want is the new front bumper, sunroof and 19's.

Feedback fellas please

edit- can someone move this to coupe forum please?

It looks like they try to sell it at MSRP if not bit more . If its 6MT with prem should be not much more than 34k/37.3k out of door, if its 5AT with prem/19s should not be more than 35k/38.7.

It is sad to say that the dealer is trying to rip you a new a-hole. Go to the window of the car and check out the MSRP price on the window and add about $3000-$3500 in tax and see if that is close to the price the dealer is asking for. If it is pretty close tell them that you are going to another dealer to get a better price. Try Edmunds.com for your research. A good offer would be 300-500 over the invoice price. It would be even better if you can get it below invoice, but unfortunately the G35 coupe is one hard car to get it under the invoice.

Wow. That's high. I am shopping for the same model, and I am getting offers roughly around 550-650 (maybe even less, I have 1 more dealer quote to wait for) over invoice here in Texas.
