I want the G35 6MT but got questions

Hey everybody,

I am very close to buying a 2006 G35 Sedan 6MT. The price they gave me is $35,400 for one with navi, premium, aero, Sirius radio, trunk mat, mud flaps. Is that good? I am confident that I can argue it down to $35,000.

Also, is the warranty extension to 7years/100k mi worth $2500?

Is it true that there is no keyfob with the 6MT? --> nevermind, it doesn't come with one

Anything else I should ask for? The "deal" is that the dealership put the order in and I have a few days to either go in and pay the deposit or tell them I don't want the car (so that they can reconfigure their order). HMMMMMM??

Your price looks to be around $700 over, or ~2% markup. I would consider that a "fair" price. G35 sales are down these days, so if you are feeling confident about bargaining, why not go for it?

I am currently looking to replace my 2003.5 6mt sedan that is coming off it's lease with an 06'. My salesperson told me that Infiniti has a promotion coming up starting on 2/9 and that I should wait to place an order until then. You might want to ask your salesperson about that. Mind you, I live in NJ and it might be a regional thing..

No, the 6MT doesn't have that option.

I live in NJ too but I'm buying in PA since that's where I'll be moving to. Any details on what this deal may be?

I would check out sites like edmunds.com for fair pricing info. As far as the extended warranty, you should be able to negotiate the price down. I didn't get it, but they tried to give it to me for a much discounted price after I first turned it down.

The person that I am working with wouldn't give me any details. I assume it's a lease/apr promotion. She told me that she would get back to me next week and we could talk numbers then.
