How long after ordering does ittake to get a tracking number? Thanks for any help!

 

question is too vague... all depends on who you order from. Usually, you should be able to get a tracking number as soon as it is received by the carrier - fedex, dhl, ups...

Of course, it is up to the seller to provide you with the tracking number. They may give it to you as soon as they have one or you might have to call in to ask.

Hope i understood your question right. I usually have to wait about a day or so to get tracking numbers... most distribution takes about a day from order received to processing to getting it out on the road/air.

 

sorry! I ordered a new g35c How long after I placed the order will i recieve a tracking number and thus know when the car is:
a.in the U.S. and b. When I will recieve it. How long into the 90 day waiting period untill I know more info about where the car is and when i will get it?

 

That question solely relies on the dealer. Cars don't come in tracking number unless you like order it on ebay. Like I said, contact the dealer and ask them what's the eta on your 06' G35c.

 

Rather than a tracking number, you should ask for either VIN or production number, I would double check with your dealership, usually they assign a VIN just before it go into production, also is your "ordered" car is a pre-production model or was produced already? cus sometimes dealer will check to see if there is a car just the way you wanted already in-production or in-transist and just route it to them.

Not sure if Infiniti do what BMW does, when you order a BMW? you can call them and they will tell you the excat date it finish the production and what date it left port and which ship its on and when it due in port in US, or you can track the process on owner's circle.
