Hi all,

I'm looking to purchase a 2006 G35 sedan w/ auto in Socal in a few days. So far, I've been offered $500 below invoice from 2 dealers in the area and I'm wondering if it's a good deal. I understand sedans are less sought after therefore I should be able to get it for much cheaper than 6MT Coupe.

Please express your opinion regarding this price.

Thanks.

Do you have trade-ins? if not, then it is more than an reasonable deal, also need to watch the interest rate, Infiniti do offer 1.95%(or was it 1.99?) interest rate for Sedans.

Why does it make a difference if you have a trade-in or not? Just curious because we are in the same situation in So Cal. Getting reading to purchase very soon.

We don't have trade-ins.

You'll get a better discount on the price of the new vehicle but they'll rip you off from the trade in, so essentially you are not getting a better deal if you have trade ins.

Having trade-in's tend to complicating the negotiates, on one hand they offer you great price on the new car, but in other they low ball you on the trade-in, to hope you are only focus on the price of new car and over look the trade-in's, to determine if its a good deal there are many other things factor in, besides the price? there are trade-in's/interest rate/dealer add ons like paint protections/lo-jack...Guess whenever I see a good price posted? I get lil suspicious about it.
