insurance..

So, I'm 16 and looking for a car..No mommy and daddy arnt buying it for me, i'm using my own money to buy the car and pay for insurance.

So my question is, on a 03 Coupe how much would you guys say insurance is on them? I have State farm, and from Chicago..with a clean record..if that matters at all..

My manager has a white one and its sooooo nice i just feel in love with them..

Unhappy It's not cheap...

Don't freak, but it may cost you between $2000 and $3000 a year and if you get a ticket, it will go way up from there. There are kids paying more for insurance each month than their car payment! You won't get a break untill your 21 I think.

25 here in MA...terrible. My driving record from when I was 16 is still causing me some trouble, I'm now 22.

You can get an approximate insurance quote from State Farm, here:

http://www.statefarm.com/quote/arq.htm

They have auto loans at very decent rates, too.

I don't see how you have your own money for an expensive car and it's insurance at 16 but whatever. Definitely shop around for insurance. Some may rate the G35 as a sports car and others may not. Either way, it will be hugely expensive. You might want to consider getting a beater for a few years to save money.

your insurance will be up the roof. Mine is still pretty pricey with 6 yrs of experience and no tickets/accidents. The magic number is 25... age 25 before it drops significantly. So says my insurance broker anyways.

Your best bet is to get a couple of quotes from major companies, and see an insurance broker/middleman that can get quotes for many companies at once.

just try esurance.com but you will need all their info to get it. just ask your parents instead of avoiding them
