So I went to Infiniti in Escondido on Monday to place my order for a CB 6MT fully loaded coupe. They tell me that they are not taking any more orders, but they have a red one coming in next week. So then I say, well I would like to test drive before I decide to buy if I came to look at the red one. He says they don't do test drives. Really pisses me off. But I then talked to Carlsbad Dealer (same owner - Discover) and this salesman says that I could test drive when they get one in, but no CB's with 6MT coming soon. Oh well, I'll wait for awhile. Of course I'm still on the wait list for one of those BAD A$$ STi's from Subaru also (300 horse power sounds so good). Any on else hear that they are not taking anymore orders? The first guy also said something about allocations being cut as well. HHMMMM.

 

Got to a different dealer, maybe they have passed their allocation. You can contact McPherson in Infiniti where I have my car on order. They would be happy to fill it.

Cutter Infiniti in Santa Barbara has a Carribean Blue with 6sp manual. They just got it a couple of days ago. It has everything...aero package, etc....except for the DVD navigation. It's priced at just over $35,000 I believe. The car is available as of this morning when I spoke to a salesman at the dealer. They are charging MSRP, from what I have heard.

MacPherson Infiniti in Tustin, CA has a blue 6 speed that is not spoken for. It is on the showroom floor. I saw it today when I picked up my silver 6 speed.

 

Contact DFW_Infiniti on the Fresh Alloy G35 forum. He will certainly take your order and get you the car you are looking for. I decided to trade my sedan in for a G35 coupe and I wanted at CB fully loaded and he found me the car and I was driving it off the lot 48 hours later. These guys no how to find cars and they will treat you very fairly. When you contact him at dmayer@grubbs.com tell him that Todd Carlson referred you.

Yeah, I was at Joe's garage (banquent facility there in the Tustin Auto Mall) for a corporate dinner and in my somewhat drunken stupor (no, it wasn't that bad) walked over to go see the car right before 9:00. Even though i was there the day before! He was kind of laughing at me, but yeah, it's definitely still there and not yet spoken for. CB/Willow 6MT with premium.

Hey thanks everyone. All the references helped out alot. Just so you all know I talked with Chuck Harris at MacPerson Infiniti on Friday the 10th, he said that the Blue one on the floor was sold that day. On the good note, they have another one coming in in a couple of weeks and it's now got my name on it. This one has everything I wanted CB graphite, premium, aero, sport. Now I wont have to wait three months for the order. I went and put the order deposit down on the 11th on the way to the autoshow. I didn't get to test drive one yet, but I got to start one and run the engine a little. Now just have to make sure my custom plates are ordered. Thanks again everyone. Discover Infiniti is under new ownership. I think a Honda dealer owns them now. Different crew entirely in both places.
