Get the aero package!

I'd get the aero package, but I'm gonna put rims on it anyway and I figured I dont need the suspension since im not gettin the 6 speed... I'll just put the spoiler on in like a month

My dealer (in Kirkland...near Seattle) wants 40k for the package I want:

(black on black)
Base Price $33,800
Premium Pkg 2,850
Navigation 1,800
Rear Active Steer 750
Splash Guards 210
Trunk Mat 80
Freight 650

Total $40,140

Which is more than what it is online (infiniti.com) because I think they are starting with a higher base price.

How much should I be able to get this setup for (realistically)? 36? 37? 40?

P.S. This is for a car that matched what I setup online. I didn't want Rear Active Steer, Splash Guards, or the Trunk Mat, but I'll take 'em if can get the deal done.

Now I am not sure that "9 out of 10 deals are at full MSRP" is true anymore, certainly was like that back in 03 and some parts of 04 but now? I think 9 out of 10 deals are around invoice is closer to the truth, especially if you are been around this car forum for lil while. post this at regional forums and ask them what dealership to go for good deal/service in your area.

The invoice base on your options, its 36,678, I wont be paying 500 more than that, the Infiniti's starting price included the Freight/Destination charge of 650 already thats why it started higher but it ends up the same, too bad they dont have "search dealer inventory" feature anymore, at least I could not find it.

I am not so sure that I would go by Carsdirect's price, its way too high for today's market condition, its around 2000 over invoice.
