Talked dealer down to what I think is a steal...

So I went to the infiniti dealership, they have a used 2006, Ivory Pearl, gray leather, 6 speed, with less than 2000 miles. Listed at $37,000. Bottom line is my base model RSX will be $13000 traded in, and they dropped the price of the car to $33,000... I think thats a DAMN good deal. OR, I could get the same car but BRAND new and with navigation for $36000... Any ideas, tips, advice, inputs??? I think I should get the used one personally. I have the magellan Navigation, but I love the stock one, so clean...Thanks!

I can't say if $13k for your RSX is good or not, but you should check KBB, Edmunds, and Craigslist to see if you could make a few thousand more on it by selling private party.

Consider this....NAV is a $1800 option, if the new car did not have it, it would be $34,200 - a difference of only $1200 compared to the used car. I would go for the used car but try to get a slightly better price on it. You will save some money in registration, taxes & license fees, plus it is pretty much brand new.

i wouldn't buy the G. too expensive for what you get. Get an 04 350Z for low $20k range.

A 350Z would be more practicle especially if you're not working and about to go to school.

Hah... I do some big time work, LEGALLY, lol... I'm a full-time student obviously not now its the summer... You think the infiniti is gonna cost THAT much on service? What basically do you have pay for besides gas and oil changes??? The Z is too sporty I think, the interior is just there... nothing grand

you get a little better on insurance w/ a G35 coupe than a Z, better warranty program, and maintainence is about the same pricing

i mean im still happy but to be completly honest, i hate not having the navi, i hear it brings a lot of extra things to play with! it looks real clean too, but it looks like ur deal is pretty good, at the end..is ur choice!
