Can't go wrong with Stoptech. Why did you even look anywhere else?

You are absolutely right!

Stoptech are one of the few that have actually done R&D.
So many others buy a caliper here a rotor there... fab a mounting bracket.
(parking brake.. waz that?) (ABS..huhhh?)
Presto..... a G35 BBK

If you aren't careful you can really get ed

Quaife install done....
All I can say is WOW!!!!

I've just finished the obligatory once around the block.....
The block ended up taking 1/2 hr to get around
I just couldn't get enough of it.

It totally transforms the feel of the car;
Nail it coming out of a tight corner & it just rockets out with torque being shifted to the outside wheel.

Can't wait to REALLY test it

Full write up with pics to follow in " Engine, Drivetrain & Forced-Induction"

Ian, you sounded so pleased that I had to find out what a Quaife was. I did and it sounds great. Looking forward to the full review.

In my enthusiastic moment, I forgot to mention the 3.5 final drive change as well.
It really gives the car more jump.... definitely an upgrade from the 3.3 diff.

Tested the cruise ctrl on the way in today.... works fine in the 80-90 km/hr range.
Haven't had a chance to test hwy speeds yet.

That is awesome Ian . Like I said to you before, I think the 3.5:1 gearing is perfect combo for our automatics. I just got back from a 5 day trip, and with the same gearing at 3,000 RPM I am doing 74 MPH on my Garmin GPS. You should be about the same now (that is also where I seem to get my best mileage on cruise). Your acceleration must be very impressive now with that change and your other mods .
The Quiafe differential sounds fantastic for putting the power that you have gained to the back wheels.

Had a look. Great job Ian. That's a considerable amount of work. I'm sure the rewards will be well worth it.

But from what I've seen so far mmmmmmmmm I like it a LOT
