RE 3.5 diff change & cruise ctrl function

Was out on the 407 today, so I had a chance to test the cruise & 3.5 issue.
The cruise ctrl worked just fine

I don't know if this mystery is related to the ECU ver or not
FWIW, mine is pre '04.5 ECU change.

That is good news on the cruise Ian, even though you don't use it much.

Bill, we could all probably use some detailing help underneath our cars.

I think I'll start with mine on the top part first.

No, I have the nav out right now.

There should be no change in the speedo though, since the sensors pickup after the diff.
Revs are definitely up a notch;
As per Waynes post, I'm pulling the same RPMs as an AWD.

1. Quaife LSD with 3.5 diff - parts are in, install next week
2. VRT Strut tower brace - waiting for Stillen CAI to gain a little more elbow room. (anyone want an Amsoil EaA OEM replacement filter)
3. Seat mods, relocate controls & reupholster - by the end of the month waiting for the Alcantara.
4. Stoptech BBK - waiting for the parts
5 Exhaust - Later in the summer; either the Vibrant system or custom...

After that who knows.
What track do you race at? Do you also do 1/4 mile runs?

Ahh, that's good to know. No more fiddling with speedo drive gears.

Right....
A lot of cars use the transmission speed to determine vehicle speed.
Since our cars use sensors at the wheels, we don't have that problem.

Wheel Sensor---->VDC/TCS/ABS ctrl unit ---(via CAN comm)--->ECU = Vehicle Speed

The only thing that affects our speedo is a change in the wheel/tire circumference.
