Hey all, looking to go the ghetto route and pick up a used G35 coupe 6mt, just wondering what're the differences b/w 2003 & 2004?

Between 2004 & 2003 models i'm looking at, the 2003 is slightly cheaper then 2004 by $2000, milleage is about the same

I have an '04 but not too sure on all the changes. Believe there were some cosmetic changes to the interior, slight upgrades to the transmission.

I have an '03 coupe 6MT, and there is virtually no difference between the '03 and '04 - something cosmetic with the cupholders/storage bin behind the shifter - but I'm not even sure that affected Canadian cars.

Depends on how tight your budget is, I guess. You will have more remaining warranty with the '04 - but the $2,000 in savings might help offset the cost of some personalization - tint/tuning/wheels/suspension, etc.

I have an '03 also. As far as I recall, they are the same car. Early models, however, had the console from the 350Z, looked really crappy, IMO. The 03.5 got an updated console, carried over for '04, that can easily be retrofitted to the earlier car (as I did a three years ago). For $2K difference, IF everything else is the same, go for the '03.

04 is better. I say that only cause I have one.

 

2004 has the Tire pressure sensor where 2003 does not have it.
