It was definitely a good workout on the arms. I am playing golf tomorrow and I have a feeling that my arms are going to be super sore.

Overall, this was definitely the most satisfying thing that I have done to my G in almost three years of ownership.
Did you use the SSR2.5 or 2 first? The 2.5 should be first, 2 or 1 second. Maybe you typo'd.

Otherwise the process looks good. The polishes did a good job on the swirls? I know a lot of folks have a tough time with the PC their first time (not tough in terms of use, but gettig results); it looks to me like you got great results.

Anyway, not just maintain it with proper washing and you'll be good to go for 5-6 months before you need to re-apply Zaino!

Ooops, that was a typo Kevin......I used the more abrasive 2.5 first, then the 2.

The polishes worked very well on the swirls. I still see some faint swirl marks, but no where close to what they were. I wasn't expecting a perfect job my first time, so I was quite satisfied with the results. I find my paint has a much deeper and more glossy look.....almost a wet look if that makes sense.

Just from word of experience you are not going to get the swirls 100% out, Even the pics I took looked like perfect but if you look really close there are still some left. With the black car is remove as much swirls as possible and then hide it.

I swear my next car is not going to be black.

It makes perfect sense. That's exactly how it should look; when you're done polishing a car correctly you'll often see almost no differences after applying your sealant/wax, because the paint is so smooth after the polishing that all the sealant/wax does is provide protection.

I've said those words 1,000 times, and I'm on black car #7 now. Once you go black you never go back!

I bet you are anxious to get all your stuff so you can do the same.

Yes, PC and polish is on the way and the rest is expected next week. I'm sure you are right about it being very satisfying.

Once again, congrats on a great job. I know your car had spider webs from the last time I saw it so it has to feel good to virtually get rid of them. Should help at selling or trade in time too.
