Angry It's a Bad Car !!

The words in the title are what my wife said when she got home tonight.

This should be off topic but a few of the guys here know her so I thought it good to post here.
She got her first speeding ticket with the G35X today . Luckily the officer lowered it to just 20 klicks over the limit. She was just bragging last week about commuting 60 miles each way to her job every day and never got a ticket....oops, she shouldn't have said anything Now she says the car is bad cause it wants to go fast all the time .

I am having fun with this one .

Ha!

I just had a close call in the Poconos today. The cop pulled over a guy in a BMW in front of me.
I was just getting ready to pass him when we both passed the cop.

That's a shame Wayne but goes to show that it's easy to go a bit fast in a great car.

My wife had an X out about a month ago when I had it as a loaner. She loved taking it out on the twisty road right by our home. I could see her speed increasing versus her little sunfire.

That is too bad about Karen getting a ticket Wayne......but I am sure you are really having fun with it!

There has been countless times that I've looked down at the speedo only to notice I was doing 20-30 clicks over the limit....it is certainly easy to do.

Sorry about the ticket Wayne. Your right, it's a Baaaaaaad car alright. Got my first ticket the first week I had it. It's verry bad, and forces us to go along with it all too often.

I've been rubbing it in . She said it's not fair, she has caught me doing double the limit .
I will also be on my toes from now on. My daughter (insurance broker) told us even with that one ticket no matter how small it is, that we lose our conviction free discount on our insurance.

I don't think it's much Shane. I will ask my daughter to check it out on my policy when she's at work later this week.

Fight it, and until you are convicted insurance can't see the ticket yet.

Or be a rebel like me

how did u mount that thing? i'm assuming the main unit is under the dash or something... but if so... how is it picking up radar and laser? i have my old v1 from when i was living in south carolina... but it's just sitting in a box in my basement. i remember seeing some radar detectors where u can install the sensors in the front grill and rear bumper for a stealth look inside the car but i'm assuming yours isn't like that... is it?
