kinda off topic, but if a rebadged car as "nissan skyline 350gt" was ticketed and it said that on the ticket, would the ticket be throwed out since they didn't write g35?

No. Your plate # & license # will be recorded.

Also your rebadging does not make your G35 a Nissan Skyline 350gt.

Besides they always ask for your DL and ownership of the vehicle. Only thing is if the officer wants to be picky about it he/she may want to verify the VIN number on the vehicle just to make sure its the right vehicle. By that time you my have to explain the difference of a G35 or a 350GT.

Rebadging doesn't afford anything if you ask me, it just draws unwanted attention if you are doing something that would attract the likes of the LAW

It doesn't matter if you rebadge it as a VW Rabbit - he will take your
Make/Model information from the registration, not the trunk lid. He'll
also have your tag number, DL number and the VIN from the registration
if he wants it. You're not going to fool the system with a rebadge - it
takes more than that to get a ticket "throwed" out.

Your question was answered a couple of times already - if you weren't
so busy calling everybody haters, you might have noticed.

In netcbc's defense....

Don't worry netcbc, I'm with you there - and for further clarification - in the case of parking tickets (where they wouldn't have your registration and such) you CAN get tickets that have Nissan as well as Skyline written on it - I have a couple with it. And I have wondered the same, since as I understand it, should a ticket have anything incorrect on it, it can be overturned.

I too have a rebadged G35 as well, which I love and I don't blame netcbc one bit, it does get a little tedious after a while - its funny in the beginning and then it wear a little thin.

wow relax, as I was saying I was referring to "parking" tickets, maybe you should have read a little bit into it? And not I'm calling anyone a hater just asking for others not to jump to conclusions. I meant originally to say for parking tickets specifically so thats my fault.

Well tickets get thrown out for mispelled names, wrong addresses, wrong ages etc. I would say that if that were the case it would be worth a shot. I haven't ever had a ticket but my family fights all of them. More often than not we win and usually it's a stupid reason that causes the win.
