Waiting for my 20'z

Hey Guys, hows it going? i just bought my new rims. waiting for them to come in. i bought the new 20inch D'vinci Ragno rims. cant wait to put them on . i have a question. how do i get my coupe to peel out. i turn off the VDC and rev upto about 3500-4000rpm and release my clutch. is that wrong? beacuse after that my car doesnt peel out it just keeps reving and my clutch is stuck at midpoint. and all you smell is that terrrible clutch smell. what am i doing wrong here?

Yikes, there are numerous complaints about that on this board. You likely aren't doing anything wrong. Some G 6mt clutches seem to do this. Why- who knows??

A different technique you may want to try is to feather the clutch out rather than just dump it, putting a lot of instant stress on the driveline. If you try this maybe your clutch will operate normally.

You will have a harder time "peeling out" with the 20's since there will be more rubber grip and you will have the affect of taller gearing with the bigger tires/wheels/rotional weight and mass.

I haven't had any problems at all with my clutch and have experienced a "few" aggressive launchs myself.
