Congrats on working at your fitness. Sounds like a smart goal; start it extra slow, finish it running and celebrate your accomplishment afterwards.

If that is the case, I think I might pass on the massage! You on the other hand must get all the hotties!!

So is 12-13 mins for 2 kms ok or is that pretty slow? Mind you where I run it is pretty flat with no hills.

This thread is pretty well over now anyhow.

On the pace thing let's just say there is room for improvement. The important thing is you are out there doing something and you will feel and look better for it.

Thanks Deane, I kinda suspected I was on the slow side. I don't even want to know what you run 2 kms in?

Everyone starts off slowly. More miles = more speed.
