Good compromise on the sport G, Shane, I'm sure you can live with the wheat interior under the circumstances.
Diligent use of a towel or cover temporarily here and there will get you by.
I'm sure there's some kind of treatment for leather to make it more resistant to staining.

As to the mini van issue.....just keep the QX.....- it's a great in-between of a wagon, car and van.

Having a minivan for the business is one thing.... but getting one as your daily driver is another!!

I think we both know that wouldn't happen for either of us!!

Staining leather really isn't an issue; leather is very resistant to staining and cleans easily. That said, wheat mats and carpets are *very* difficult to keep clean, and are much harder to clean than graphite. You can scotch guard them and of course be diligent about stains, but in the long run black is just easier to maintain.

Unfortunately Colin, my wife is looking at getting rid of the QX4 and getting a Nissan Versa as she does not like bigger vehicles. That was the reason why I was thinking about the G35X.

Actually, this is just an avatar that I found that looked like Vegas. Here is some actual pics of her.

Well said kevin about both the leather and the care needed with light mats/carpets. I have no issue at all with mine but that is one of the specialities our business deals with.

I said I would never get a minivan either but after my second daughter was born I had to break down. I had an 01 Black Pathfinder before that and my wife and I loved it but hauling 2 small kids, all of their gear and a 100 lb Black Lab, the Pathfinder didn't have enough room.
After the Pathfinder lease was done we got a Nissan Quest and I have to say it is very handy, you can haul a ton of stuff.
I have the G so that is my solice!
Never say never, it can come back to bite you in the a**!
Have a good night
Matt

Sport all the way. If you can't get out of your driveway... call it a snow day. lol...

The navi/xm is a tough one. but if you do get the navi i'd turn it into a tv as well. I don't know if the car will come with the same surround sound as the M35 but if it does... movies would be cool.

and....

i just like black leather...

my 2 cents
