Another Newbie

Hi All,
I'm very excited to join this forum and the G-family as I will be picking up my 2006 G35x in a month. Yeah, I guess I could have waited another two months or so to get the 2007, but I got a really good deal on the '06 with the premium package and when you're on a budget, you can't be too greedy!

.... besides, the '06 is a hot car on its own and most bugs should have been worked out by now.

I'm no stranger to the Nissan family as my mom has a '01 SR20 Sentra (I picked it for her since she wanted a small car) and I myself currently has a '03 Max. Can't wait to pick up my G in early September!

I was deciding on the colours and I ended up with serengeti sand because I wanted a light colour car (easier to maintain) but with the wheat interior. I would have picked the white but it doesn't come in wheat inside for those Gs coming to Canada - not fair! I'm not sure about the serengeti sand to begin with because I don't usually associate "gold" with my age (20s), but the more I look at serengeti sand Gs and Ms on the road, the "cooler" it looks because the colour actually changes under different lighting conditions - maybe that's why it's extra costs for the paint. ... And it's rare!

Anyway, I hope I learn something new here everyday and I hope I can hear some amazing stories of y'alls Gs!

See you all around.

Welcome, Indy......you in the east or west.......?
Congrats on the new ride. Great choice and the colour is one of my faves.

Happy modding and if you're in the east (Ont), we hope to meet up soon for a closer look at the new whip.
