Looks like a great spot, Shane.......

Is that 'Nessi' I see swimming by??
Love the eagle, and lighthouse......Not many of either one of those left....
Wow, talk about a fisherman's paradise.......
Campfire looks cozy, and Vegas is happily on guard.

Any more pics?......love 'em.

The Finback whale was amazing. The captain of the boat estimated that it was 80-85 feet in length.

Yikes, that whale is huge.......good thing he was friendly (and well fed).

Hard to visualize a creature that size...

I big animal indeed. It was absolutely huge to see in person, even though you only get to see only a small portion of it. The spray it made was quite big as well. I could never time it right to get a picture of the spray it made.

Yep, not too far down the Fundy coast from Saint John. To get to Campobello, you have to take a ferry from mainland NB to Deer Island, then another ferry from Deer Island to Campobello Island. The ferry rides are really nice as well. We had a pod of porpoises following us which was kinda neat.

Roughing it to me is a hotel east of the 404, west of the 427, or north of Major Mac.

Shane, I guess that's probably the last camping trip of the season. Nice way to end it off. Great pics of the trip and showcasing our area to the non natives!

Yep, last camping trip for the season.

When I look at the pictures of our area, I am amazed at how beautiful this part of the country really is. You nailed it in the other thread when you said we sometimes take it for granted. I will be first to admit that I sometimes do. I really want to make it a point in the next few summers to spend more vacation time closer to home. Having said that, my next vacation is in 26 days where I will be Caribbean bound.
