Picked up a G35

Been viewing this forum for awhile, but this is my first post. I picked up a 2003 G35 coupe 6mt desert platinum with wheat interior in the middle of August and I am having a blast. Everytime I drive it, I have a huge grin on my face.

Anyways just wanted to say HI to everyone.

Che-Wei

P.S. I have attached 2 pics but they are not very good because I took it with my phone.

Sorry it should read 2003 coupe 6mt desert platinum. Not dessert platinum.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the board. The grin on your face won't go away anytime soon. I have had my G for three years now, and I still have a grin on my face everytime I drive.

Congrats and wlecome to driver chewy.

With a name like that not much wonder you were thinking about dessert.

BTW, think the interior of your car would be willow as I don't believe the wheat came out until '05.

Thanks for the replies. Yes RBull the interior is probably willow and thanks to Msedanman for fixing up the sp mistake.

I do see a lot of G35 coupes here in scarborough and also near time square. Just waiting for the modding bug to hit. Planning on doing the ipod connector mod soon.

I do have a small question and that is how do I get my seatbelt extension to stay in place, it always rubs against the leather seat. I hate that stupid noise.

Ahh now we know why it's chewy
The seat belt extender should click when pulled up and stay in place. I find there is a small rubbing noise from the seat belt against the seat top. Using a good amount of leather conditioner seems to help.
