My friend's G35C stolen from Richmond Hill Go Train Station today

My friend called me at 7:30pm today and said his gold color 2005 G35C 6MT is stolen from the Langstaff Go Train Station. This is bad. He just got new Toyo's T1R's. Let me know if someone has seen parts for sale.

sorry to hear man! But seriously, how many cars have to be broken into/stolen for go transit to do something about their parking lot security? My old beater golf with no mods except a cheap *** cd deck was broken into TWICE at a go train station, and my friend recently had his prelude literally flatbed'ed out of the lot (this was after one other break into his car for his stereo equipment).

He knew it was towed out since he happened to have remembered the odometer reading after getting gas, and realized that the meter had not moved after the cops found his car stripped out.

I seriously hopes some higher ups start looking into stuff like this...

Wow... never parking my car at transit parking lots...

Sorry for your friend, I can only imagine what it feels... I had another friend who got his car stolen, he was literally heartbroken as he completely built that car himself.

Never seen a G35C in gold, so therefore it must be a rare colour and easily to spot.. Let's keep an eye out.

I know your j/k but I'm sure it's been done b4.
You probably wouldn't want what they would give as settlement value though.

I think the waiver of depreciation is still active!

I'm not actively selling...but I don't really enjoy driving it that much any more and I'd rather have a cheaper daily driver. Also want to upgrade to a bigger house in a year or two.

It's funny how that goes....
There's days I wonder what the hail I'm doing playing with mods etc.....
I've started adding up some prelim mods for the 335... damn scarry

Seems no matter what, I'm ready for another one after 3yrs. anyway (if not sooner )
I'd be waaayyy ahead to just get back into a G sedan, keep it basic & fuggedaboutit.

& I'm afraid to even think about a track car....

The 335 sedan is the only thing that may stray me away from my plan of a cheaper daily driver...soooooo hawt...but I'd rather get a bigger house with more garage space first.

Sorry to hear about your friend. I park mine at the GO station in Mississauga (knock on wood) no problems yet. I do see like 3 or 4 other sedans and at least 2 coupes each day there.

I've seen a few cars broken into, lately I've seen wheels stolen. I hope the cops find the car and the idiots.

Theft at the GO station is a problem, it was brought up a while back, but nothing has been done about it.

Damn sorry to hear that, Oggie....It seems iffy parking anywhere these days, but those stations are popular targets.
Let's hope security is tightened up soon. In the meantime, a good alarm system would be an answer for now.

I hope your friend's insurance claim goes well.....

C.

yea, parking at the go train is bad news. It's like a candy store for thieves. There's never any security, and the camera's didn't help either. I personally wouldn't park anything other than my corolla there (same with my friend now).

I see a couple of nice cars at my station, i hope they'll be ok. Notably there's a boxter, a 3 series with a set of BBS rims :O, a couple of new TL's and 5 series. There used to be an M3 that parked at a particular spot everyday last year, but it's not there anymore. Hopefully it's just the owner smartening up and stopped driving the M there.

I believe my friend's car is still within 2 year for the waiver of depreciation to be in-force. He is thinking of downgrading to maybe a Civic or something that thieves don't want. I believe Saab or Jaguar was suggested.
