Mike from AAM is the person who tuned my car at Autoworks last year. He was able to get me over the 400 hp mark where other shops, who shall remane nameless, could only achieve 330. I highly recommend him and I would be attending also but I had to drop out at the last minute because I'm trying to buy another vehicle to replace my Jeep TJ for the winter and I need all the cash I can spare. Plus it didn't make sense for me to tune my car just to turn around and put it away for the winter.

I hope he comes back up in the spring.

Here is the info. I posted on my350Z.com:

I will be in Toronto, Canada November 10th (possibly the 11th as well) helping several of our customers in the area tune their vehicles.

If anyone is interested we will be offering a discount on the AAM Spec ECU Flash when I am up there!

Here is a link to the AAM ECU Flash:

http://www.alteredatmosphere.com/mm5...y_Code=350Z_EM

The flash will be discounted from $595 to $545. If we can get three or four people together, we can drop the price another $50 to $495!

Also, if you would like a custom tune with the flash we will only be charging $285.00. We have a special deal worked out with a dyno shop (Autoworks Service Center) that will be charging roughly $100.00 for the dyno time.

If you have other engine managment (ie. e-Manage, UTEC, Split Second, HKS F-Con, etc.) and would like help tuning let me know and I can help out here as well.

If you have any questions or would like to meet up at the dyno facility and say hello, send me a PM or e-mail MikeM@alteredatmosphere.com.

Thanks,

Here is the address for Autowerks Service Centre:

1320 Wilson Road North
Oshawa, ON, L1K2B6

Here is their phone number: 905.571.3369

I was last there to tune Sam's awesome G35 for PAS Magazine. It took me just over 30min to get there from downtown Toronto. The facility is small but very nice, and the people working there were great.

Hope to see you there!

If you are interested in the Flash (it looks like the final price for the Flash is going to be discounted to $495 b/c we have enough people signed up!) shoot me an e-mail MikeM@alteredatmosphere.com and we can schedule your time slot.

We are going to be collecting the charges next week, so everyone will be pre-paid.

Any N/A car (with a few bolts on) going? I am debating of going or not...since if I go, I would definitely go for the custom tune....

But I don't really understand the difference between a custom-flash and a something like a UTEC/EU on a N/A car

The customer flash is very similar to a UTEC/EU on a N/A car with several additional advantages including Throttle Upgrade, A/F Target Upgrade, Speed & Rev-Limiter Upgrade which are not available with the UTEC or EU because these maps are only tunable through reprogramming the factory ECU.

Update - looks like we are going to have enough tunes for the $495.00 flash price!

PM or E-mail me MikeM@alteredatmosphere.com if you are interested but not yet signed up!

Question ECU flashing...

Hey Mike,

I've got the Stillen CAI, Z-tube, Stillen dual cat-back exhaust installed right now. I'm putting in the Motordyne 5/16" ISO thermal copper spacer this weekend. I'm also ordering the Crawford or Fast Intentions high-flow cats and Crawford headers this weekend to be installed by your shop sometime next month (I live in Frederick, MD).

Long story short, I've basically replaced my entire airflow system by the time I'm done with these mods. I just got off the phone with one of your guys and we agreed that an ECU flash is important to maximize all the mods I've done to my G. I wanted to wait until all my engine modes were done before flashing. My question is, what other possible NA mods could be done to my car to boost performance that would require additional ECU reprogramming? I really don't want to have to do any more flashes ($595 is a hefty cost to pay over and over again) after this one ... if possible. I realize when I go twin turbo that will require a significant amount of tuning (a.k.a. a reflash) but I'm only talking NA for now.

Oh, last question - is the ECU flash the only option for tuning my car without putting in another computer (e.g. UTEC, etc.)?

Thanks much,
Brian
