sorry to bring this back from the dead guys

I'm seriously thinking about getting a bike this season. I have no clue where to begin and for some reason this thread is what I thought of. Yes, not google, this thread. Go figure.

Ben, Sammy, can you recommend any forums? This is obviously the wrong time of the year to try to meet up with some bike guys and see their rides (I've never even been on a bike before other then sitting on Sammy's once when it was parked).

All tips appreciated

BTW, I'm also looking to get rid of the Titan if any one's interested in the beast. Thanks!

Marta, try sending Ben and Sammy a PM. There are also other people on the board here from the GTA that have bikes, they might jump in here too.

What are the particulars on your Titan, such as year, 4x2 or 4x4, and model.
Wayne

It's a beautiful truck Marta, I don't think you will have a problem selling it.
It is exactly what I would like to get when I replace my GMC Z71 in a couple of years.

I knew you'd come around to the two wheeled world Marta. I still have my bike for sale and hope that I don't get any buyers for it.

Have you taken the driver's course yet? If you haven't I highly recommend it for experience and as well for insurance purposes. Your insurance will be cut literally in half if not more.

There are so many options when it comes to bikes. What do you like? Cruiser, sport, touring or mabey dirt/street bikes? I started off with a BMW 650 which was a great learning bike but a little expensive. It was a street/dirt bike.

The forum that I spend most of my time on during the season is www.gtamotorcycle.com. That forum covers a huge area in and around Toronto. There are also some forums for the Durham area that I check out every so often. If you want those just let me know and I will PM them to you.

Good luck with the Titan. What are you going to drive in the winter now?
