I've used a few premium injector cleaners which are good for month to month maintenance, but I'm wondering how good the process is that the dealer offers that is much more extensive and better for engines that have never had this done.....
Check at the dealer for pricing..That may be the way to go.....
Colin.
AFAIK Dealers just pour a detergent in the tank, better than what you can pick up at Canadian Tire. Having your injectors removed, cleaned and balanced and re-installed would cost over $1000 easy.
I have never used Seafoam but I hear people swear by it. You can also use the stuff to decarbon your intake manifold/plenum.

Good time to get your fuel filter replaced as well.

How often do you guys use those SEA FOAM stuff or similar fuel injector cleaning stuff that you can put thru the GAS tank?
I am planning to do a complete cleaning in the next spring... but is wondering if I should also use this kind of fuel-injector cleanr that is fed through the GAS tank...

From what I understand, Infiniti vehicles do not have to change their fuel filters . They are maintenance free unless there is a problem in operating the vehicle( running rough etc...)
I read that at www.infinitihelp.com

It cost me $25 per injector.
