- a body kit.
- Wheels
- SSK on the 6mt
- Alcantara seat inserts on the 'ette (not a fan of the Dakota leather)
I was easily +10K or more out the door w/o working up a sweat.

Congrats!!
Ian,
Congrats on the new ride.. Strangely enough I was just reading an article on TheCarMagazine.com on your new baby..

Very much a drivers car.. Hope we meet up one day so I can take a closer look.. Drive safe and break her in nicely.. From what I remember of my former BMW the break in instructions were quite fun..

& nice article, I hadn't seen that one.
We'll hook up at one of the spring meets for sure,
as long as the guys don't mind an interloper hangin' round.

Did my first mod the 1st day I had her... debadged the ///M on the side panels.
The 2nd day I had the car....I replaced the CDV on the clutch.
Since we're stuck with front plates here.... I got a little creative instead of going naked.
Other than that....I have a few things in the wings for spring,

That's a nice upgrade on the exhaust. That's quite a different looking OE setup with the round/rectangular shapes, and is that one of the tailpipes that's wrapped?
What's the hp number on the new set up and sound compared to stock?
Are you liking the CDV?
I really like the OE wheels but would change for decent weight savings like you said.
Get rid of that side marker will you please.
Lovely car Ian. I've spent a good deal of time researching the E85/86 lately. Very impressive. Pretty sparse around here and maybe even where you are.

The biggest issue with the OEM pipes are the flattened bottoms.
That really messes up laminar flow.

Supersprint says it's not needed... I'll probably add some anyway to be sure.
This is a brand new system & dyno numbers are difficult to come by.
The only one you get are from users.
Supersprint lives by there rep & doesn't get into dyno comparos.
Typicaly I've seen them in the 8 to 14 range.
The Z4 (330) looses 3 hp to the M3 (333) due to exhaust.
So I'm expecting gains in the upper range.
Sound is a mild upgrade from OEM.
OEM def needs a little more bark to it; the engine is the predominant (& very sexy) sound.
The CDV is a fantastic mod. (only $35 or free if you delete the valve completely)..
gives great engagement feel & reduces pedal effort as well.
Here's a great write up LINKY
I'm adding a Rouge Eng pedal stop as well.
It eliminates some of the extra pedal travel at the bottom.
I'll probably do wheels once I find the right ones
![Big Grin](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
& the side marker is def going...going.... (almost gone)
Ya... the M is pretty sparse around here as well & it sure is bags of fun.
Can't wait for winter to come & go for some good roadtrip weather.

The right leg of the tail pipe passes a little closer to the fuel tank than the left, so a little extra shielding is added.

Great start on the mods! It's so good now there's probably not a lot needed.
I haven't seen much talk on suspension. Is that something typically modded? Thanks for the link. I found that one before which is how I knew about it.
Let's keep our fingers crossed for a mild winter/early spring.

Ian, the new system definitely looks smoother for better flow. good mod.
You planning a b4 dyno or going by SOTP/timing?
....and what about intake to match the 'hotter' exhaust?
