Wow, out west where Shane is - terrible cold and wind.
Further out west in Vancouver and parts of B.C. now under a 12-14" blanket of snow after threats of a hurricane, high winds, and mucho rain in the last few weeks.......poor souls out there must be wondering what on earth they did wrong......

You're in our prayers, guys......hang in there. Things will get better.

We shouldn't feel so bad any more being where we are...... This is nice compared to other places.....

I'll have to take some more pics and post up.

How long until you return, Shane? I guess that can't come soon enough, Huh. It's absolutely balmy here in the east by comparison......

TNX, Shane......these guys are a real treasure and almost zero maintenance too. we get on so well....they know what they should and shouldn't do now, and get along well with each other....I'm so glad now I have 2 kids for their sakes too

Out and about now they becoming so socialized with other people and dogs. They really get along well with others.....(mostly.....There are a few exceptions, but thankfully only a few).

They'd love to play with Vegas......I bet they'd have a ball....

I hear you, and know exactly what you mean......That's something I noticed about my visits east.
You get away from the wild pace we live in here and people are different and have time to smile, talk, and be very friendly and trusting.....It's a real treat.
Sounds like peeps out west are the same......
That must have made your stay a nice one despite the bad weather...

For sure. I want to head back to Banff when the weather's better. Even with the crappy weather on the weekend, it was stunning.

The wife and I still can't get over how stunning it is over here. I'm racking up some serious km's with her and the kids wanting to go out there damned near every weekend.
They're kinda facinated with all the wildlife too.

Have a safe flight home by the way. It'll feel almost tropical when you get back

To be honest, I rarely go to banff except when it's cold, and I keep on driving until I hit Lake Louise!! I only saw the actual Lake at Lake Louise for the first time this year It's strange how we all take our home region for granted.

So true. People come to visit here and go wow. We drive and walk through it everyday mostly never giving it a second thought.
