East Coast > Sunny Destination

You guys out East are getting all the nice weather these days in direct contrast to the wet and soggy, and now freezing and snowy West..

Expect an influx of sun seekers and golfers looking for a warm, Canadian destination.........

Enjoy......and I just might make the trip myself....

C.

Yeah, I must say that it has been a great fall so far. We haven't had the sunniest of weather, but it has been very mild. This weekend was sunny with double digit temps. It makes for a shorter winter, which is something I won't argue about. I would hate to have the frigid temps that Alberta is getting now.

Btw, here are a couple of webcams of Vancouver. Looks like they have a few cms of snow on the ground.

Yes, it's been fairly nice. We were running about 3-4 degrees above norm a few weeks ago but fairly close now. We've had our share of rain though too. It's 6 degrees right now and a high of 8 today. Later this week it's supposed to be up to 16.

They are forecasting 13C later this week here Deane. Not quite 16C, but I will take it.

Exactly. I can remember the guys at work saying to me when I arrived in Calgary about 4 months back....... "Don't worry Mark, we just don't seem to be getting the extreme weather here anymore".
Could have bloody fooled me!!!! I experienced a 60 degree temp change in 4 days.

Do have to say that the 'X is bloody great in the snow/ice though

That's a shame, Shane.....you know earlier I was out lounging in the sun playing with the kids and quaffing some brewskies with my shorts on, and damned if I didn't work up a sweat........
It was just too much for us, so we came in and I turned on the A/C.........................

Damn it's cold out there. It's not been that cold here even in the dead on winter for quite some time.
You'll come back all frostbitten ....stay warm......

C.
