Hahaha, I hear you, Shane.....I meantioned in another thread the other day that if my grass gets any longer, I'll have to get my lawnmower back out again......

LOL, In January, I'm usually clearing a path in a foot of snow for the kids to run around the yard in , not cutting the grass -- I love this...

It's been so warm I still haven't prepped the RX-7 for winter storage yet. Finally got around to picking up some antifreeze to put in.

^ My G is still at home. I just changed the oil in it this aft to get ready to take it over to the place I store it. I might get it over there the end of this week. I've already paid for a month of storage I haven't used.

LOL, Deane, That month's rental may have been some of the best money you ever spent....
I see that you got sun today -- hope you and H. got out in it for a nice ride.
Was great here today too..... I even had the M out for about 10 kms.

I had a few errands I did today and then we drove down to Shubie Park about 2k from the house. We went for a 45 minute walk around beside Lake Charles. I'm dying to heal and be able to run sometime again this decade.

Yeah, it must pain you to not be able to run....sorry to hear that you're still laid up...

Hope '07 is a much better year for your running..I know you must miss it.

Shubie Park, and Lake Charles are still imprinted in my mind from my visit in '06......can't wait to see it again...

Glad you had a great day down there, I"ll bet there were many out there enjoying the sun and unusual Jan weather....

Thanks Colin. That must have been nice to have the M out today.

Yes, there were a lot of people out today walking in the park and many with dogs. H and I were having a lot of dejavu looking at the folks with their pets. It was sunny and 10 this am but cooled to about 7 when we were out but we continue to set numerous weather records for Jan.

Look forward to seeing you again down this way. We'll have to plan a few fun activities.

Shane, I think you've got him pegged. Maybe I shouldn't talk as that's about all I put on today.

He's going to prove us wrong with the East Coast trip though.

I can't believe it is Jan 7th.
We just got home from a trip up the Bruce Peninsula. We left this morning and got home early this evening.
It was a balmy 4 C. We made it to Sauble Beach, Sauble Falls for a picnic and a short hike. Then we travelled over to the Georgian Bay side of the Peninsula and stopped and checked out a few spots. We finally ended up at Tobermory where we had a nice walk.
The new G is awesome, I have it broken in now and have accumulated over 2,400 in one month since we picked her up. We put on 380 KMs today. Here are some pics from today, and don't tell me the car is dirty cause I know, I was hitting quite a few back roads today.

We never saw a hint of snow. It is in the forecast for this week though.
