Appreciate the responses - and yes, I left myself open to the first few!
At 35, I've had my share of performance vehicles, including 2*280Z, 300Z, RX7, M3 and IS300. On the older cars I did a lot of my own work but as I got older and the engines became more complicated I got away from the hands on. I definitely know how to handle myself on track (Bmer school) as well as the road but haven't touched a "performance upgrade" in at least 5 years so am definitely appreciative of any advice.
Thanks!
