Re: '04 Fuel gauge

Well, i think it's not your fuel gauge has the problem, instead it is something wrong with our gas tank stuff. It is not your guel gauge doesn't shown correctly, it is actually the gas tank stopped you from pumping even before it's full. I think it's the gas tank being too sensitive, sometimes it stop me from pumping more gas when my gas tank wasn't even half full. (What do i do? i keep forcing it to even though it keep stopping me from pumping) This happens once awhile, but sometimes it can be really annoying when you have to keep press and stopped, press and stopped, and has to estimate how full is your gas tank. Any TSB on this?

Yeah this happens to me all the time. I thought the gas guage was broken too, but it's just that the pump cuts out because of the pressure in the tank. Anybody else with this problem?

My '03 Coupe is starting to give me problems. Tank is full for sure, but gauge doesn't show full. Time for a new sending unit.

Yeah, or both the fuel gauge and the gas tank all have problem? I'm really sure that the sensor of the gas tank is too sensitive that sometimes while my tank is empty the pump cuts off when i filled in 10L of gas. And no matter how hard you try, it just keep stop you from pumping and make you feels like you are playing some shooting game such as time crisis that you have to reload everytime. Gauge may has problem too, but everytime it shows that it's not full, i just think it's the gas tank's problem again, it seems to get better now though. anyways, Anyone else with this problem? Any TSB on this issues?

Yeah I have the same problem - it seems to occur about once every four times. I've only used Sunoco Ultra94 so far and it has ocurred at 4 different stations.
