It seems to be getting worse and worse around g35driver. Maybe it's just that I see it more now; but I'll be damned if with the release of the '07's the fanboism around here hasn't gone through the roof. At least we've all still got eachother!

WTF Kevin, who in his/her right mind would find this acceptable let alone funny. Seems like so much of our society is devolving.

I agree and because of it, this crap is popping up far too frequently.

It's exactly what prompted this thread in the first place.

Childishness, stupidity, ignorance, baiting, and last but not least: insensitivity... all seem to be the norm these days with some of these guys

If I had my way, I'll be booting a lot these clowns out the door.

Let's see if this promps any meaningful discussions with Mods and Admins -
Solving the issues we have will take a concerted effort by all Mods and Admins tho....

Apologies Kevin, and everyone.... , It does try one's patience at times and make visiting certain areas less than pleasant.

As was said recently: Thank God we have our own forum and haven to retreat to.

Colin.

Well said. I concur 100%.

Unfortunately with a changing demographic of G owners we're seeing an increase in undesirable and more juvenile behaviour.

Thanks for all your help and that of the rest of the forum admin.

Well I can't pretend I didn't have something to do with that thread going downhill. I certainly didn't intend to, but the first post originally struck me as just another attempt to start a flame fest. I may have been mistaken and I apologized to the OP if I was. Of course that kind of thread always brings the winners out of the woodwork.

Colin is right, though; threads like that are becoming way too common. I know the mods here are probably strapped as it is but has their been any thought to perhaps having one "Car Chat" style section with a couple dedicated moderators? (combine other cars and other cars comparison?). That's how it goes at a number of other sites and it seems to work. It's a forum subsection that of course can breed fights, so I'd say it bears watching.

Kevin, I think that is a GREAT idea!! As you know, there are a number of mods in the Car Chat section over at Acurazine, and becuase of that I find their threads civilized and mature. I think that would work well here on Driver as well. Heck, I would even volunteer to be a mod in that section.

Last night I deleted a thread in the Sedan section where a young punk posted a video of him doing 120 MPH in his G on a public freeway. Wayne saw that one as well. I immediately deleted the thread and sent the punk a PM telling him to smarten up.

Ya, CL is the same way. They have a couple mods on it because it's a pretty, uhhh... explosive section, but it seems to work. I'd vote to have you mod the G "car chat"
