any solution to a bent exhaust tip?
I picked up a used exhaust over the winter, but one of the tips (single-walled) got bent abit during shipping. I'm pretty sure it's from shipping as there are no visible scratches on the exhaust itself.
What are my options if i wanted to try and "fix" the bent tip? and how much would it cost?
some pics of the exhaust....i didn't really take close ups of the bent side, but you can see it in the pic (driver side).

I can't quite make out the dent, but I'm guessing that it's possible to bang it out with the proper dolly and bodywork hammer. You have to be able to get the proper shaped dolly in there and hammer (gently) on the metal opposite the dolly.
A body shop might advise you better and give an estimate of feasibility and costs.
Another option is to go aftermarket. I loved my Borla on my Coupe for looks and for function.

haha, the exhaust is already aftermarket :P I haven't even installed it yet.
You can see the dent on the top left hand side of the exhaust tip...it's not quite "round".
on the bright side, i've shown the pic to a couple of people and they seem to have a challenge to find the dent in the first place. So i might end up not doing anything to it at all. But I guess the picture is pretty bad. I'll probably take a pic of the tip in question for a better view.
