no i opted out of the blizzaks, i did a lot of research and in the end you're paying for the name, i wont drive the car much in the snow and i'm pretty careful too. I got the hankooks which are also V rated. Felt great in the snow today.
the best part was the price..............

Yeah Tabz, how much did you pay for those? I got the same rims although mine is with silver finish instead of the black. 17x7/17x7.5 225 50/225 55 setup with Perelli W210. I got it from jerry for 2070... btw what is the speed llimit for V-rated tire?

i like to think of myself as a smart shopper, i searched around, called maybe 15 tire shops.
I wanted the 18 inch blizzaks but for only a few more bucks got a 17inch wheel and tire. I got the wheel and tire installed balanced everything and tax included for $1440. I thnk it was $170 a wheel and $142 a tire. What a steal! The cheapest i found was 1500 + tax from the infiniti dealer using a Q rated tire. Thats at least a $350 ++ savings.
got it from Discount Tire City in richmond hill, i always go to them for tires.

btw i love how it matches the paint on the car, looks nicer than the stock wheel only if it was 18 inches.

The tire price sounds reasonable, as 17s Hankook W300 is around 130-150 range as Perelli and Blizzak will cost more than 240. You do get a really good deal on the wheels though, I guess i wasn't too off then, my front W210 is around 240 while 250 for rear, so that make my wheel around 190 a piece. I was looking into few other wheels with 17x8 rear, but have to settle with the 17x7.5 on this one as all others are not in stock. Surprisingly, the 17x7 front 17x7.5 rear stagger setup wasn't too bad, the rear wasn't too skinny as i expected, and the wheel itself looks nice!

 

actually the 225/55/17v hankooks are $245 retail minus 30% that is the usual for tires comes to about 160-180 a tire. Yes it is a lot cheaper than the pirelli's and bridgestones but i think i did pretty well getting them at almost 45% or 130 a tire which is almost half of the pirelli and BS.

ya dealt with both dom and the other guy.
you can qoute my price although they said they couldnt get the rim for that price anymore, even so it might only be a few bucks more the rim and tires were a good deal too.
its worth a shot.
