Btw, should I judge from your 'name' that you are not yet in a G?
I was 2-B when I joined last falll. I bought in January and take delivery this Saturday. So techincally, still a 2-B. Guess I will need to change my name soon!

The new phone book's here! The new phone book's here!

Oh. No. Wait...it's just my new mats from Oakville Infiniti. I have to say they look a bit better than the black rubber Michelin mats that have been ridin' in my G since January. The new carpets even have the proper Infiniti logo embroidered into the graphite-grey; they really perk up the interior of my car.

Okay, you may think getting new mats is not a big deal, but the COFs will back me up that as you get older, it takes less and less to get you excited.

(oh I'm leaving the door swingin' on its hinges with that last remark...)

hahaha
yeah, i bought mine about a week ago and only put them in the car last night. All season mats that is, and it made a big difference from my CT temp mats. They fit perfectly for the shape of the floorboard.

Glad you like yours

Yeah the fit is definitely spot-on as you'd expect.

After the mats arrived, my wife informed me that I'd officially spent my car allowance for this month. So in the interest of continued wedded bliss, I will refrain from any further purchases...at least until next month when I buy those wheels from Keith out in Richmond!

You are giving away your age, Deane. If you're not careful, you may be inducted into the COFC.

Ha!, I first mis-typed 'inducted' as 'indicted', rather Freudian don't you think? Still way tired from the Clapton concert last night, but well worth it to be out past my bedtime on a school night.

It would be worth a late night to get to a Eric Clapton concert.
So what if you are a COF in the morning .

None whatsoever. Okay, this is not good, you guys already know me too well.

Though this morning I'm sort of a happy crabby old fart, it was a he11 of a show last night. You can listen to the CD's and watch the DVD's but there's nothing quite like seeing the real guy, God, music history standing right there on the stage wailing on a black Stratocaster...

haha, I've posted my age on this site many times. I'm still a few years away from being eligible for "the club".

Yeah seeing Clapton would be cool. I haven't seen a concert for so many years and can't remember the last one.

Before this winter/spring, I hadn't been in a while either, then suddenly several acts came thru town that I wanted to see...Colin James, Van Morrison, Tom Cochrane (and RR) and last night Clapton with Robert Cray (great combo for an old Blues guy like me). Now me and my wallet are taking a rest.
