35% is plenty if you are still interested in safety and no interference from the law. Anything lower puts you at risk with both of these.

Yeah, it's been a cold winter overall and after two weeks in heat you're probably really feeling it.

We leave Mar. 10 for 8 days so might have that freezing feelin' afterwards too.

I always thought that 35% was too light for my tastes. I always go with 15% all the way around and think it's perfect!

I totally agree that for looks the darker the tint the better. But really, I think that it's best on show cars since it does get very difficult to see out of them at night, at least for me it is, if it is darker than 35%.

i was never a fan of "limo tints"...i have 35% all around and couldn't be happier. but then again, my car is black, so any darker and my car would be TOO black.

Thanks for the comments guys.

I do like the 35%, don't get me wrong. But thought maybe a little darker will look better.

But I prefer to see out properly than to go too dark for looks.

I think u guys have convinced me to leave it as is

If the bubbles are still there by Saturday, then I will have to take it back to those guys.

BTW, for those who have tinted their coupes. You know when u tinted it, the tinter took out the screws on both doors. With them in, it enables the window to go up and down slightly automatically when the door is opened and closed.

This has been out of the sockets for a week already. Is this ok?

Should i put the screws back in on both doors to allow the windows to go up and down automatically ?

Thanks guys.

The bubbles will disappear especially when vehicle is left in the sun. Mine took about a week. Perhaps the winter takes longer for them to disappear.

On the screws are you talking about the small drop when door is opened to clear the roof? You definitely need that to happen or damage to window/roof is near certain.

Although it is longer than a week, i will give it a bit longer then.
This saturday will have it close to two weeks though.

Well it is the screws from each side panel that u take out. Not on the door. This disables the up and down motion of the window when the door is opened or closed. If this can damage the window etc, why did the tinters take it out and stuff?

it's a catch 22 from what i hear. bascially if the window moves up and down it could hinder the curing process, and the tint would mess up (that's why you're not suppose to open/close the window). on the other hand, the window needs to drop down in order for the window to not scratch/damage the roof/glass.

i'd put the screws back on for peace of mind imo. the movement is so minimal that it will most likely not affect the tint. I left the windows as is after getting my tint, and i didn't see any problems from my tint.
