How to....

Hey guys,
I just bought a Pearl, for..ummm beat this price!!! its brand new Unloocked for $300 ebay their selling for bout $400 plus...
I have some questions, i make few long distance calls and i signed up with http://www.toronto1suncall.com/
i pay about $4/month with unlimited long distance calls. nice deal eh?

you have to call a local number n then they connect you to the long distance number. only problem im having now is with the pearl is when i call their local number, they ask you punch in the long distance number..so ex 514 xxx xxxx. When im viewing the address book and punch it, the phone doesnt let me dail until i exit the phone book. is there a way to bypass this? cuz its hard to remember a number that u dont call every day...

thnx

Will they work on Rogers (why did I write bell?) in Canada? I want one, but the money factor is holding me back and I don't really want to go into a new contract. Any specific sites to look at for unlock blackberrys?

Instead of looking on ebay, try this site. i found to be more usefull than ebay in some ways but ofcourse its not big as ebay so thats the bad part of it.

http://toronto.kijiji.ca/

I just got lucky with the price for pearl, I emailed a seller few weeks ago, and that time she went on vacation and she happens to call me back yesterday..she said $300 and right away i said "I"LL PICK IT up right now" before someone else takes it..lol

I don't really care if I get an unlocked one as long as it works on rogers in Canada.

Godfather, I'm sorry I totally stole your thread. Does anyone know how to fix his problem with the phonebook?
