Cost of new plates; registration - ONTARIO
Just double checking my purchase agreement before I take delivery..
1) REGISTRATION: There is a $55 charge for car registration... this sounds right, I normally pay $74 a year, and based on my birthday, the charge should be 9/12 of $74 which is $55. So I think the charge is correct. But I also recall from last time I bought, I can get a credit back for what I already pre-paid ( ie I already paid $74 for the year. so I should be getting this $55 credit back.)
Does anyone know the URL where I can download the government form for this?? I will ask my dealer as well.
2) LICENCE/NEW PLATES - I know the charge to transfer plates is $20, but I asked for new plates as the old ones are all rusted up anyway. I am being charged $107.85 . How can verify this is correct?
