"Stuck" in Toronto, the airport, that is

...now that I have your attention, I'm just kidding about being "stuck" here. Well maybe not. I have a client in Mississauga in one of the industrial areas, and so the "best" thing for me to quickly get in and out over the next couple days is to stay at the Sheraton at the airport. Lovely. So here I be... So tomorrow my routine will be to hop in a cab, head to the client, cab back to the hotel, and work some more in the evening. Same thing on Thursday except I fly back to Cowtown in the evening, only to be faced with a hectic Friday workday as well. I love the downtown Toronto (I've been coming here at least once a year for the past decade or so for work-related conferences), so being in this state of limbo at the airport and not "really" being in Toronto really sucks.

On the good side, after a three day weekend of fun in the sun, we were greeted yesterday night and this morning with about a half a foot of snow in the driveway. So my workday started with a good shovelling session and cleaning off our cars. Funny thing was that on the way to the Calgary airport this afternoon, all the snow had melted and it was sunny again. Messy roads for sure, but sheesh, our wacky unpredictable weather never fails to surprise.

Enough "ranting". Gotta do another hour of work and then it's off to sleep to get ready for the the next couple workdays in Mississauga....

Can't wait for the weekend so I can figure out the case of the slow leak in my tire. Can't be driving the Z around with a leak going on!

Saw the teaser post about the new "G37". Exciting stuff. Have you guys seen the official pics of the 2008 M3 concept? I have mixed feelings about the design. I prefer the current E46 M3 bodystyle - cleaner lines, and the flared fenders are awesome.

Heck Joel, sometime you are coming down for a couple of days, give us a heads-up, I'm sure a few of us might be able to hook-up with you.

Great idea Wayne - unfortunately the next 2 days I will have very little downtime - lots of work to do, but perhaps in the fall (my next conference) it would be great to meet some of my fellow forum members (and admire your cars in person!). Will keep it mind the next time.

Cheers.
