Laser Jammers
How do you stealth mount it and have forward and backward coverage? Mine is located in a pretty impossible spot to see from the outside, but it's still on the windshield. It was as high up as I could go and still get rear coverage.

In here...

I don't know if it would work in the E92, but on the Z4 the upper console is pretty flat bottomed.
It also has at least 1.5" clear space above the light module already.
I'm looking at making a custom piece tha drops down a little more, then I can cut an access door/slot for it.
The OEM header piece is only $79, so I'll use it as a base, customize it & then finish it in leather or Alcantara.
Most likely Alcantara if I do the seats.
This way I can run stealth top up or down.

Pretty much plug & play...
The 9500 also has GPS positioning to store known false alarms which is a nice feature on a regular route.
There are a few demo vids on the web site Passport 9500i
& here Detector school

Whether you hardwire or not is up to you, either way it is plug and play. Most guys like to hardwire so they don't have to see the cord all the time. Otherwise you just turn it on, leave it on auto and let it do it's thing. You can get very technical with it (change things so you get less falses, etc..), but for the most part you aren't required to do anything.
The 9500 looks awesome, the GPS feature is really cool. I have three x bands I get all the time near my house that annoy the heck out of me, you won't have to worry about that.
