I posted a few pics of my favorite cars I owned in the Mopar thread here:Clicky
Here is another vehicle that my family and I had fun in.
It was an 1979 International Harvester Scout ll
It had a hardtop and a soft top, an 8,000# Warn winch, a body lift, reworked leaf springs, and a kick-*** component stereo system.

That's a great truck Wayne, especially with the removable roof.
Way back when I was in high school, my best friend's father had an International Scout, and to this day, it's the only vehicle I have driven that had a 3 on the tree manual. I remember they had it for quite a long time and seemed to be bullet proof.

My Favorite car was my 99 Firebird Formula. After spending thousands of dollars on mods...it ended up running 11.56 @ 125mph in the 1/4 mile.
If I could pick any car now (under $100K) it would be this 2007 ZO6.

I see we got a couple of AW11 ex-owners on the board.
Nope... Had to sell it back to the previous owner, couldn't register it in Ontario. But it was definitely fun while it lasted
BTW AW11>SW20

My '74 Z-28 unfortunately predates the digital age by a bit, and I haven't dug out and scanned my old photos yet. The car in this borrowed image is identical to the one I bought brand new when I was 19, same colour and without the ugly hood/trunk graphics. I added ET IV wheels and L60 tires in the back.
Sorry this add is so late...
Great thread idea Deane! We talk so much about G's that its easy to forget what brought us to this point. I wanted to post my own actual pics of these cars, but couldn't find them, so I found links instead already on the web.
This is one of my favourite cars growing up a 1975 Mercury Marquis - we kept it a really long time and learned how to drive on it back in highschool. I once put 12 friends in my car just to see if I could do so comfortably.

The fact I love about this car is that John Candy drove one in "Uncle Buck" - remember how it backfired everytime he parked it? It was huge, and that was a two-door! I had a four-door! I remember my girlfriend at the time had a custom Econoline extended van at the time, and the mercury was a foot longer.
In keeping with the big cars, a buddy of mine has a 1978 Lincoln Town Car, what will make you laugh is that this picture is from LAST SATURDAY!!
That's me busting out my big pimpin moves...

Went out for dinner with some friends and took the newly repainted town car out on the town. It was hilarious. I know how driving a shiny, clean G can get looks from certain people, but this car got looks from everybody. Its like driving 2 leather couches. The most comfortable ride ever.
I could include some others, but I never owned them and I think that's what makes this thread fun. I'd have to say that the Lamboghini Countach (from the Alpine poster) was a fave of mine.
As well as the Porsche 959 Twin Turbo.
Just my two cents,
Al

Here's a nice car I once rode in. Disregard the guy with the cheesy 80's mustache. Clearly the beauty in the white dress had been drinking heavily and didn't know what she was getting into.
The car, btw, is a 1947 Cadillac Series 62. And no, it was not new in these pictures.
