Favorite cars you've owned or driven

Post up pics of any memorable cars or trucks. Yours or your friends.

I'll start with a '69 Super Bee 440 six pack 4 speed hurst shifter that belonged to a friend of mine back in the mid to late 70's

Very nice Ian. That would have been a pretty rare car too.

Here's another of a '57 Pontiac my best friend owned. 327 vette with a 4 speed and 5:13 gears. Used to give my Torino a run up to 60 mph.

I don't have an extensive list of previously owned cars like some of you guys but here is my most favorite car I owned growing up. It's an 86 MR2 that I had for 12 years before I totalled it by hitting a deer then a cement culvert.

Sorry for such a crappy picture but that's all I have at the moment.

Hey Mr. ...nice ride
I looked at these at one point.

I think it was about the time I was throwing all kinds of $$ at the 914

Toyota MR2 AW11 FTW!!!

Here's mine, it had the AE101 4AGZE. 170hp with a sub 6 seconds in 0-100km/h! (very comparable to my Z)

I miss my old Impala.

Had it in High School, I could fit up to 15 people in it. It had tons of room. It could derail a frieght train, but it really love gas. It had a 4 barrel carb on it.

I am saving up for one of these now.

Great car Shane. Must have been lots of fun. You don't see any on the road now.

I always had a soft spot for the Ferrari F40, this to me is the first supercar that started the evoulution of Super car. Althought rough and not as refine as other supercars this to me is what I grew up with and will always remind me of the countless hours I would drool on the road and track special edition on the F40. Think I will go look for that magazine again and drool some more.

I owned one of the first pic...it was, as my Dad would have called it, a great '******* Wagon'. Second pic is one of my many dream cars, a 1965 GTO. And third, if money is no object, I'm driving a Maranello: classiest Ferrari ever.

I guess I should include the first car I ever owned that I posted in the other cars section.

Not sure you could say this is a favorite but it was kind of special. It was my winter beater '69 Merc 390 with air. It was a Texas car and the car I moved to Halifax in packed with all my belongings. The flame job is courtesy of my buds a couple of days before I left Winnipeg to move. About a half dozen of them scratched the names on the hood paint. I had the whole car primered the next day so it would look a little more normal. Shoelaces tied from the rear side moldings to the frame underneath kept my belongings from falling through the floor of the fenders.

Yeah, it was definitely a great car Deane. I had it for 12 trouble free years. I'd probably still have it today if I didn't get into an accident with it. It wasn't all that quick of a car, but it handled better than anything I have driven......very go cart like.

Wow Deane, what a picture!! That brings a new meaning to winter beater! That's a great story behind the car driving it from Winnipeg to Halifax! What year was that?
