does LSD help in winter?

hi everyone,

new member here. i am buying a g35 4 sure this spring. i got the negotiating and bidding wars started already. but i just need to know from people who already have a 2004 g35 sedan RWD : does it perform well in the winter. i believe the 2003 model does not have LSD like the 2004. because i am considering AWD but its about 2500$ more. do any of you have any stories or opinions about driving the g35 sedan 6MT RWD in the cold canadian winters? do you feel safe or have you felt unsafe driving it in winter? do you regret not getting the AWD? i live in toronto right now but am moving back to guelph (where i used to live). i plan on getting my car from guelph infiniti/nissan. i have my heart set on the 6MT. a car like the G35 can be best appreciated with the manual transmission...not to mension the better gas mileage. also, i understand that the aero package is not available with the AWD. does anyone have a picture of the interior of an AWD? any idea how much the AWD will run me...i mean the negotiated price or better yet the dealer cost. i know the dealer cost for the 6MT is 38790. i got the price negotiated to 1200 above dealer cost at guelph infiniti. mississauga 401/dixie (2000 above cost) and mississauga (the other one - i forget the name) 1500 above cost. i know guys, a lot of questions for my first post. appreciate your help. great forum!
