BB_Sam,

I'm somewhat interested in this. When you figure out a final shop and price let me know.

I'm def interested in this too. Please post a final cash price and shop location when you guys decide whats best. I'm a noob when it comes to tints and therefore don't know much about percentages or types!

There's no question that I am also a novice at this tinting thing.

I have decided to go with 35%. I had a car that was 20% and I think I almost ran over a few people at night b/c it can be a bit dark to see out of (ESPECIALLY when it's raining).

Check out the gallery on Audio Heaven's website and you can see before and after photos at various %'s. Jeff at AH mentioned that some do 35% up front and 20% on the back and rear windows. I still think that might be too dark for me. But, as these things go, everyone has their own preference.

As discussed in our PMs "I'm in!"

Thanks again for doing the leg work. From the comments on the board I would lean towards FX. Perhaps a group buy of 5 cars plus mad props on the Forum might help drop the price.

If you go to FX make sure you ask for the mole skin to protect the tint from scratching. Even though they give life time warranties.

FX ia a tinting vendor.
& just found out moleskin is to line the weatherseals for a soft contact on the tint.

- sounds like a good idea... remember those grease streak problems!

I can always count on you guys to crack a joke. Thought you guys knew about the moleskin. As ian said it is a piece of strip that lines the inside of the door to prevent from scratching etc. Is no extra cost at FX
